The Clinton Public Library wants to protect the health and safety of staff, volunteers, and visitors. This policy amends the Clinton Public Library’s current smoke-free policy to include the use of electronic cigarettes, otherwise known as e-cigarettes, effective immediately.
No use of tobacco, nicotine, or any type of smoking products including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookahs, spit tobacco or e-cigarettes is permitted within the Clinton Public Library building and not permitted within 8 feet of public entrances.
Approved by the Clinton Board of Trustees on 1-7-15
